Ocean shipping through the port of Antwerp
Cost-effective container and cargo shipping between Antwerp and ports around the world.
The most economical way to move large volumes
Sea freight is the natural choice for heavy and voluminous cargo that does not need to arrive overnight. From our base in Antwerpen we book space with major shipping lines and handle everything around the sea leg: pick-up, port formalities, documentation and delivery at destination.
Whether you fill a full container or share one with other shippers, we find the sailing, routing and price that fit your shipment.
Our sea freight services
- Full container load (FCL) — 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high-cube containers
- Less than container load (LCL) — groupage for smaller shipments
- Reefer containers for temperature-controlled goods
- Out-of-gauge, flat-rack and break-bulk cargo
- Pre- and on-carriage by truck to and from the port
- Export and import documentation, including bills of lading
Heavy, oversized or unusual cargo?
Machinery, vehicles, steel or project cargo often cannot travel in a standard container. We arrange flat-racks, open-top containers or break-bulk space, and plan lifting, lashing and port handling so your cargo is shipped safely.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
With FCL (full container load) you book a whole container for your goods. With LCL (less than container load) your cargo shares a container with other shipments, so you only pay for the space you use. LCL is usually more economical below roughly 13–15 m³.
How long does sea freight take?
Transit times depend on the route and the shipping line. We always confirm the expected departure and arrival dates in your quote.
Can you collect the goods from my premises?
Yes. We can arrange pick-up by truck from your address and deliver the cargo to the port terminal, and do the same at destination.
